Statistics show that while more women are entering the film industry, on-set positions are still largely occupied by men. “GirlsMakeMovies’ is a non-profit devoted to providing young girls with opportunities to learn about film and cameras. They want to promote their Summer Workshop for young women interested in film.

Insight
Representation matters. Young girls need to see women succeeding in areas they’re interested in and have access to those opportunities and networks. “Flip the Script” means to resist the status quo and create space for yourself.
